Via AdminSection I can choose only 4 languages: English, german, Dutch and Polish. If I can add other languages, because I need to set up this guest book with support Russain language. Thank you for your answer.

I solved the problem

The problem is not in the adv. poll but in the way how the php module is configurated. In my case it tanslates all the text into "windows-1250" code page

Since I'm not root on a maschine my page is hosted, to solve this I simply set the code page to "windows-1250". The drawback to this solution is that there are compability isues with oder browsers on unix (linux) maschines

ermm....kinda a stupid question rly, everything between <?php and ?> are PHP codes, so they require a .php file extention, and most of all, a server that supports PHP files...

answer to your question is no, because it is impossible to have PHP coding in an HTML file. i do wonder why you even had to "wonder" that...

How can I get Advance poll to show foregin characters corectly (Croatian - iso-8859-2). On the admin page everithing is OK (somebody even translated the interface to Croatian

) but on the final page instead of croatian specific characters I get only squares

How can I correct this

das scheint nicht zu gehen :-/
die moeglichkeit, bestimmte polls auf "hidden" zu setzen, ist fuer dein vorhaben, glaube ich, nicht anwendbar. trotzdem aber eine idee

naja...bis zur naechsten verision.

laut archivinhalt gibt es eine textversion (d.h. flatfiles werden angelegt, anstelle der datenbankeintraege)
UND eine datenbankversion (fuer die o.g. datenbanken)

soweit ich mich erinnere, in zwei aussagekraeftigen verzeichnissen, jeweils.
