to change your lang file manuelly, you will have to do it from within the database

however, just make sure that you have a lang file that is named english.php and you won't have to worry about that.

either that, your lang directory is not readable to your webserver.

make sure that it is at least chmod 644

after i installed the script i get this error:

Warning: get_content(/home/holycath/public_html/guestbook/lang/english.php) [function.get-content]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in /home/holycath/public_html/guestbook/lib/template.class.php on line 40

i know what it means i just don't know how to fix it.

My password to the admin to my advanced guestbook is not working now for some reason!!! Where or how can i recover it or change it? Or would it be easier transfering the data somehow and starting a new one?
Please help

hi.. so i figured im not as clever or knowledgable as most of you here so i went for guestbook 1.5 (the perl one) rather than using the advanced guestbook. and i got it to work fine

which is fantastic!
however, i then went on to try to create a second guestbook of sorts, by adapting the original code and using different names for the script. but it doesnt work. any ideas?

the base url and directories are correct.
i have created the guestbook_file.html, id_count.txt (with a 1), page_count.txt, and sample.html files.
the addentry page (http://brownie.pressurised.net/addmusic.html) is exactly the same as my original guestbook one, all except the form tag has action="musicform.pl" instead of "guestbook.pl"

everything seems to be correct... but it still doesnt work!! can anybody help?
please someone reply even if its to tell me i cant do this at all lol.

Hallo zusammen,

nach nem Serverstandortwechsel und ner neueren Version von PHP (4.3.0) kann ich die Umfrage nicht mehr einbinden. Folgende Fehlermeldung kommt:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare set_max_bar_length() in /home/www/s1web7/html/pollphp/include/class_poll.php on line 118

Vorher hat alles einwandfrei getan. Kann mir jemand bei meinem Problem weiterhelfen?
