I am using Advanced Guestbook 2.2. The entries are visible in the administration area and I am getting email notification of them, but they are not showing on the main page for the visitors to see.

I added a link to index.php so the visitor could return to the main page. This might have screwed it up. Can I somehow reinstall either just that page or the whole thing?

I installed the Advanced GB 2.3.1 on my website, and had changed the username/password - now, I forgot my password, but I know my username. Is there a way I can reset the password by modifying the admin php files on my server?

The guestbook works fine, but when it exceeds the entries-per-page-number (20 here) you can't add entries any more. Wehen you click the send button, a page appears that states:
"Guestbook - Error
Cannot add entry to guestbook because the html tag Guestbook was not found in some guestbook files."

Help, anyone?

Try any text editor to make the changes then just upload the files you changed via FTP. This should work out for you.

This usually happens, when your ISP is using Virtual hosting. The script is probally looking like this:

copy ($Source,$Target);

Try to change it to this:

move_uploaded_file ($Source,$Target);

Succes....

this download count script is great but i can't seem to display the results. everything works fine except for the displaying of the results. i'm trying to do it through javascript... here's what i have as the source:

i have stat_js.pl chmod to 777, and that's pretty much it. i don't know what else to do. anyone that can help me?

Hi, I'm just a beginner here... I have little experience in installing both Perl & PHP scripts.

I was wondering how hard it is to install Advanced Guestbook? How long did it take you guys?

I downloaded 10 other guestbook scripts... I couldn't get any of them to work properly.

This book is realy a killer!
But i've got 1 problem... When i open for the first time the guestbook there will be no pictures displayed. The book is trying to get the images from http://img/***.jpg. How can i prefent this?

I found the problem and of course it was my own fault. I'd made a typo and cut and pasted it onto each page. What a dumbo!
