k i got the images running by going into config_inc.php or whatever and changing the directories (it would be nice if they said do that in the readme) but the S problem is still their can you go to the link posted first and have a look so you know what im talking about?

that just gives help for the images wat about this S problem?

I upgraded from Advanced Poll (text) 1.6 to 2.0.
After moving my old files to /polldata I set permissions of 1, 2, 3, n .... to 666. It's necessary to set all *.??? files at /polldata to 666 as well.

Now everything is ok.

Hmm. Allein schon, wenn ich alle Daten hochgeladen und die Rechte zugewiesen habe (ich nutze die Text-Version, nicht die mit mySQL), werden im Admin-Tool keine Grafiken angezeigt. Das hab ich im SourceCode hingefummelt und so geht das dann auch weiter: Die in der Admin angelegten Templates frisst er nicht, erst wenn ich auch das "per Hand" in den PHP-Files korrigiert habe. "Irgendwie" hab' ich's dann doch auch hinbekommen, aber eben nicht ohne Eingriffe an der Admin vorbei. Und dabei habe ich dann Angst, dass ich was kaputt gemacht habe - oder zu doof bin.

Ich will das Programm auch gar nicht schlecht machen. Das was ich zum Laufen bekommen habe ist genial (Statistik der Votes, etc.). Aber gibt es denn (vom Autor oder Webprofis, die Advanced Poll eingerichtet haben) keine ausführliche Doku zum Setup? Und auch zu den (ja doch umfangreichen) Funktionen und Varianten? Hätte ich mehr Ahnung von PHP, würde ich das sofort mal selber schreiben.

Auch die Hilferufe hier im Forum zeigen, dass es vielen so geht.

Ja das habe ich mir schon gedacht das ich die poll.php aufrufen soll. Aber ich habe nur das "db" Verzeichnis hochgeladen und da ist keine poll.php drinne

Oder muss ich auch den "txt" Ordner hoschschieben?

Ich kenne mich zwar mit HTML aus, aber im gebiet php und perl bin ich auch recht neu, trotzdem hab ich es geschafft den poll ein zu richten und zwar auf anhieb

desweiteren bin ich damit sehr zufrieden, ich weiß gar nicht was die leute daran aus zu setzen haben, man kann halt nict alles haben, schon gar nicht 4 free
