OK I'm on nights this weekend so I can finally do this for you. Do you have phpMyAdmin on your server? Need it to easily add the new fields to the database. The rest of it is simply adding the inputs to the form, accepting them in addentry.php, checking them in add.class.php and displaying them in gb.class.php and index.php. Actually a lot more needs changing then I first realised.

Entirely upto you but I'd suggest a different folder for now and make a back up of your database before running the Lazarus agupdate file as it will alter the database. Better safe than sorry.

Wel first you would have to edit the templates to add the / to the end of such tags as img, meta and br. Then you would have to remove certain tag attributes. It does depend on what version of XHTML you are using.

I'd recommend the human verification over my image verification as it is integrated better but yes that link is valid.

Download 2.3.4 from this site then replace ALL existing guestbook files EXCEPT the config.inc.phpfile found in the admin folder.

They are using the comment feature to add spam. You can password protect comments via the General Settings section of the admin.

Download 2.3.4 from this site. Copy the database information from your current config.inc.php file to the one you just downloaded. Upload the new files to a DIFFERENT directory to the current guestbook and see if that makes a difference.

Sounds like you messed up something. You really should update to 2.3.4 but anyway you can get the premodded files from www.carbonize.co.uk/AG
