Is that the only file you editted? If so can you email me a copy to webmaster@carbonize.co.uk
yes ban the ip 216.127.68.15 which is se4u.net as this is the server all the spam is coming from. You can find contact details for the person sending this spam on http://www.samspade.org/t/whois?a=se4u.net&server=magic
Did you update from from 2.2 to 2.3.1 ? I think thats the problem.
Even http://www1.raydell.com.cn/guestbook is a blank page for me. Dd you edit any of the files?
It's being done now. Auron and I did not have moderator status at the time I posted that.
Just copy all the files except config.inc.php as that contains your MySQL details.
Even weirder because that username and password logs me in just fine. Possibly your ISP uses a invisible cache and you are seeing an old page from when it was a 500 error. I have emailed you your new username and password as I just changed them. Try changing the name of the guestbook folder and see if that fixes it.
er just make a back up first to be safe
I can login just fine. Which is kind of a problem as it means you haven't patched your guestbook.

I deleted some spam whilst in there and added the se4u.net IP to the banned list. If you have access to PHP my Admin you can delete all the spam from that se4u by running this query

Got a link to it?
Google mainly.
They are using the AGcode. You can post a url using addresshere As nobody ever actually uses AGcode feel free to turn it off. My simple antispam mod actually stopped them posts on my site.
The webmaster is a very busy person. He has taken minor steps like removing the home page field. A lot of the recent spam is actually getting clever and bypassing the simple antispam mod but hats only one person who kept spamming the same message over and over for about 10 hours straight. It would be simple to mod the your own guestbook to requi8re a password on posting or the answer to a question. It would just be a case of adding the input to the form and then checking for it in addentry.php (or index.php if running as module) and then comparing the answer with the correct one.

www .carbonize.co.uk/Guestbook/index2.php is a mod I made to display all the entries that failed my simple antispam method. More in there than the real guestbook I didn't make it a link for obvious reasons. Ignore the comments that appear on there as the mod is not perfect and the comments are for the real entries not the spam ones
Not without some serious editing. You could use a different config.inc.php file for each pointing to a different database for each but then you would have to edit the scripts that call on that file to say if from this page use this file. Then you would have to do this each time you updated.
Hey read the time. I had just woken up www.carbonize.co.uk/reset.zip
