Where you put the initial code.

for more details on formatting the time read http://uk.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
The guestbook entries are stored in your MySQL database. Upgrading will not remove them. There is no need to use the install.php file if you are upgrading from 2.3.1. The only two template files that have possibly changed are entry.php and email.php.
If they haven't supplied an email address the @BLAH should be their hostname. Anyway open up add.class.php found in the lib folder.
Replace

with

Not tested it but should work.
It already should include the persons hostname.
What do you mean by made changes?
Just use the full image path, ie http://yourdomain.com/image.gif
Stupid question but you did make the page use the .php extension and ot .htm nor .htm ?

if it really is thinking that -> is the end of the PHP code then your hosts have seriously screwed with the server.
Open body.php which is in your templates folder.

is the HTML for the Guestbook image, you could change the image to your logo and make it a link. Or

hat is the Sign the Guestbook link. You place a text link before that.
With mamblefish did you have to supply the wording for the other language or is it a web based translator that translates the whole page for you?
I have visited your guestbook before for some reason. Eludes me right now.
I've never used the poll so couldn't say for certain. It will probably be one of the template files. Also I got my code slightly wrong. It should be assuming that is that Tree is the name you gave to the frame containing the menu.
You could try adding target="urloftree" to the form tag of the poll.
Did you set $LANG[FormPreview] in the language file to say
Se det før det gemmes
? I think the problem may lie in the ø character. You are using the HTML entity which is correct but possibly it is getting sent as the actual character and so is causing the error.
I would avoid using cPanel to edit PHP files as it has a nasty habit of putting white space at the end of the file.
