Whenever I attempt to make a post to my guestbook, I receive the following error three times:

Warning: eregi_replace() [function.eregi-replace]: REG_EPAREN in /home/waffle/public_html/parlancegb/lib/vars.class.php on line 129

and the username and message body are removed from the post, leaving behind only the URL, AIM, and ICQ fields.

This occurs even when smilies and AGCode are disabled, does anybody have any experience with this issue?

Forgive me if this has been answered already and I have missed it while searching the archives. I just installed the Advanced Guestbook on my site last night through my control panel's CGI area. Anyway, I managed to get everything looking as I wanted it to and working properly until I tried to post a test message with HTML and then another with the AG code. If I use the bold codes in AG code things work fine, but using the image tags will give this message when you submit: Your message contains some invalid words. Please correct it and re-submit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

das gleiche Probem hatte ich auch...
Doch du musst die Datei config.inc.php im admin ordner mit einem Texeditor editieren (den username und das Passwort deine SQL Datenbank eingeben) und dann die datei neu uploaden.

Steht aber auch alles im Installations Doc. unter doc

Just installed Advanced Poll, and everything went fine. I go to the admin page fine, can change my settings fine. However, when I go to "create a new poll" and fill in the info and hit the button, the poll does not appear on the poll list. I've tried everything I know, now it's time for help. Anyone have any ideas?

my web is placed in /www/ directory
that means my index.php is placed there

i have a problem setting up correct paths for includes
let's say dailycounter is placed in www/counter/
and i want to use it in index.php which is placed in www/

what would be a correct path syntax?

Just tried going to counter.php and get this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreate() in /opt/apache/htdocs/steve/vhost/html/counter/counter.php on line 178
Any ideas?

ich habe das gleich problem... nach dem klick auf submit, lande ich immer wieder auf der addentry seite...

da ich leider keinen zugriff auf die php.ini habe scheiden diese lösungsvorschläge leider weg...

nach einem chmod 007 von /tmp war ein eintrag möglich.
zwar kamen nach dem submit einige fehlermeldungen (welche weiss ich leider nicht, die seite war zu schnell weg)
aber der eintrag wurde gespeichert.
allerdings ging das nur einmal.

nachdem ich dann auch /public auf 007 gesetzt habe, war wieder ein eintrag möglich.
aber auch wieder nur einmal...

sehr komisch.

hat jemand noch einen tipp ?

to 4.3.1

and now I'm getting this problem

In case anyone is confused, one can view the guestbook but when one tries to preview or add a message, the error message mentioned above appears.
