I am using Advanced Poll for 1 year now, but suddenly the script started to give me errors after I log in.

Errors are next: What should I do

I uploaded everything.

cgi-bin folder: has links.pl chmod to 755?
links folder: has addlinks.html chmod to 644?

The read me file .txt informed me to change the path to the correction of the links.pl. I changed to " http://sample.org/cgi-bin/links.pl" from " http://localhost/cgi-bin/links.pl" it ain't working still. Please help. thanks in advance people

I don't know the password for the advanced guestbook. I didn't forget it, when I went to change it, it changed automatically or I hit something. In either case I can't get in. I read someone else's problem in here and tried to use the solution suggested, but I think I messed that up or something because I still have no clue as to how I am going to get a new password, or whatever I need to do to fix this problem. If anyone can please help, I'm all eyes...lol

Got a weird problem in advanced poll which is driving me nuts! When someone clicks on "View Results" in any poll it doesn't bring up the results but it actually brings up the latest poll instead....weird.

I have just installed Advanced guestbook 2.3.1... On the top of the page you see when you go to "index.php" is a small dropdown menu ("jumpmenu". You can only choose guestbook there. How can I add extra possibilities ?? I would like an option going back to my site !

I'm having trouble getting anything out of this script.
Whatever i do, i get the Internal Server Error 500.
What could this be?

My stat.pl looks like this:

I've set everything to 777 but that didn't help either.
Please help.

When I get these errors it's usually becsue of a config error I made or a chmod error.

Have same problem as you........
with long comments being cut off at the (right) edge of the table

Someone say it works if the images was placed to left edge
and the text and comments was displayed under the image,
instead right of images.

Please tell which line whos need to be changed in add.class.php

such a simple problem and yet because no one reads it has to be answered over and over and over........read people read.....chances are someone already had that problem.....

had the same problem......fixed it in a similar fashion......however i had forgotten that the gb for some reason only allows a 5 character password and most of my passwords that i use are much longer than that......so here i am trying all of em and wondering why they dont' work ...... when in reality it was cuz i had used such a simple one that i forgot what it was.......heheheh.........is there someway to allow for more characters to be allowed for a password??? should just be a var that needs some changing right?

you don't have to go through all that trouble......in your admin panel there is an option to specify how wide you want the table to be.......you can either specify pixels or % ........ simple enough.........

Advanced Guestbook is a fine Guestbook. But it uses AGCode instead of the more common BBCode to allow formatting. Is there a reference of what AGCode is and how to use it? BBCode has those nice buttons and a display of the actual code. If this is supposed to be happening in Advanced Guesbook, it isn't in my latest copy.

This has been answered a couple/three times:
If you are using the MySQL version, get into the database and look at the book_auth table, get the username, delete the password, and then go back to the admin.php page. Put in the username, no password, and reset the password once you are in.
Doesn't anyone write down passwords anymore?
