what a plonker... always boils down to simple typo

I had entered my comments as 

when should have had space after the file name

After resolving various other path issues, what I get now when I try and add a link under any category is message:

Cannot add entry to link page because the comment
 was not found in ffa-games.htm

which is strange because the comment is there!

Any ideas?

i was wondering if any of you knew how to retrieve a username/password for the admin section of the site. is there a file i could look at to get the info on my server?

or anyway to reset the username/password for the admin? i can't access it and i'd like to make some modifications.

well this is the thingy:

i want to see the votes in a pop-up window, so... i used the code of demo 1, the third poll.

Everything works fine

But now i want to see the given comments on the poll also in the pop-up window.
So i tried to combine the two scripts with eachother. (demo1 third poll and demo 2)

i've tried several things, so i can't paste the code of them here.

But maybe one of u succeeded in doiing this

Well, if so, i would be glad to hear how it has to be done.
AND if i get it working, i'll post the whole method here so everyone can take advantage of it.

My problem was that I did not do a chmod +r * on all the sub directories... once I figured this out all is working on my main system using MySql. Wow what a nice program and just want to say Thanks for making it free.

Ok what lead me to figure out the problem is I had a extra old hard drive and installed RedHat 8.0 and the rpm's for both apache 2.0 and PHP and tried the text version of advanced poll on a spare system. I got it running but am missing some graphics... you can see the broken image error if you go to

the pop up comment windows don't work and the other image errors.

Do I have some permissions on files still incorrect if so which ones? I did follow the install instructions as follows but don't understand what the author means by - ... under the graphic directory. I am 100% sure I did a chmod +r * on the image directory.

If you left the default settings, it is test for username, and 123 for the password.

I have set up the Advanced Guestbook on my website some time ago, and I'd like to access the administrative features. However, I've forgotten both the Username and Password for it.

Is there any way where I can find the information or change it? Is that information stored in a file on my server? Thanks!
