The reason you get this is they changed the coding of the drop down menu in the newer version. So trevors code will not work as written.
Probably spam. Have you done a SEARCH On the forums for any of the numerous solutions???

Why would you want to. This prevents spam bots from getting them.
You do a search for carbs password reset script.
Verook wrote:Why don't you just try helping instead of being a Know it all.

Why dont you try SEARCHING for something that has been answered many times before. Or are you someone that just wants things handed to them on a silver platter without putting out any effort at all.
Do a SEARCH This has been discussed many many times here.
You might want to ask godaddy. Most servers just use localhost.
If you have cpanel with godaddy you do it in there. It should look something like this.
This is what your config.php should look like. Plus you also have to create a database first.

Please don't be condescending.

Gary Smith please teach people how to use the SEARCH button. Thats what the stickies that carb and aron have made so we dont have to constantly repeat ourselves!

If you would do some reading and use the SEARCH function located at the top of the forums. You would see all sorts of ways to stop spammers.
How would that particular bit stop spammers.???

$LANG['FormMess1'] = 'Fill out the blanks below to sign the guestbook. After you submit your entry, you will be returned to the guestbook. The blanks with (*) represent required fields.';
try reading some of carbs anti spam methods or even useing a .htaccess file.
