Hmmmm something odd there as 2.3.x should not work with 2.2 database. You should get logged out as soon as you click a link in Admin.

It's a guestbook not a forum. If you want to add a poll you will have to figure out how to embed the advanced poll into it.

In the Advanced Guestbook forum, th eone dedicated to Advanced guestbook questions, the first thread is called Adding a simple human verification test.

The guestbook was not designed to be included like that. If you want to include it in a page like that have a look at Lazarus. The link is in my signature.

Use notepad or wordpad. personally I recommend PSPad

You have not put your database information into admin/config.inc.php

Never having used AP I couldn't say. If the AP installer is anything like the AG installer then there is no risk as you re required to input your database details. I don't know what the misc directory contains.

No the image verification is not included with Lazarus.

Looks almost identical to the image verification code I released over a year ago.

if you have already installed it via cPanel then the database already exists. You do not need to run the install file. Just use the guestbook as normal.
