I'm not to sure how compatiable they will be but you could try the patch files I wrote for Lazarus. The problem is a known bug in PHP 4.4.1. You can find my patch files at http://carbonize.co.uk/Lazarus/Smf/index.php?topic=67.0

2.3.4 was just a bug fix for 2.3.3. The only features since 2.3.1 are encrypted email addresses and an attempt at preventing spam.

3 - Is it all coming from 1 ip? There are some sad people who post spam manually.

If you have phpMyAdmin you can go into the book_data table, click browse and then tick the spam entries and select drop to remove them.

If you want to write simple, step by step instructions for Advanced Poll I'm sure that Chi Kien Uong would be grateful and would include them it future realeases. In fact there should be an update to Advanced Poll coming out soon due to an exploit being found in 2.0.3.

It can all be changed by editting body.php in the templates folder.

The script I wrote and that is listed in that thread will change the password and username back to their defaults.
