Yep, that seems to be the problem:

It should be http:

I copied and pasted from your previous post, but I am just now noticing the "htpp". Is this just a typo here in this forum? Check to make sure your base url is actually using "http".
What about providing an error message or a link to the page ...?

timtaiwan wrote:Hi,

I have installed the poll script and it works like a charm (thanks). The reason I did so was I was hoping to use it on my site which is already using a php based CMS (Mambo 4.51a as a matter of fact) the poll component/modules that come with the CMS are not as... well... advanced shall we say as this one.

Interesting you should say that. I recently visited a Mambo site, http://www.chicanismo.org/, and I thought his polls were really neat.

For questions like this, in the future could you please click on the search link at the top of this forum and type what you are looking for in the search box - in this case poll AND password.
Anonymous wrote:Thanks for the reply Carbonize but I already tried what you recommended. Firstly the server/host admin. installed the guestbook. When I had trouble I downloaded a version from this site and reinstalled following the instructions - I change the URL;

$GB_PG["base_url"] = "htpp://www.stevenredhead.com/guestbook/img"

but I got the following:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/stevenx/public_html/guestbook/admin/config.inc.php on line 61

I think it should be:

If you do a search you will find some other ideas also.

Use ASCII for php and binary for images... Thought most ftp programs have automatic detection.

Click on the Search button at the top of this page and enter the keyword SSI. You will find all the discussion on it.
It looks like the spaces removed were on lines inside the functions(?) Check for blank lines, not spaces, especially make sure there are no blank lines after the ?> at the end. Here's how my code looks:

Here are some posts explaining:

"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by...":
http://proxy2.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3200&highlight=cannot+modify+headers
http://proxy2.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3093&highlight=cannot+modify+header

The reason they end with the phrase "cannot+modify+header" is because they were located by using the search button at the top of this forum and searching for cannot AND modify AND header. Just so you know you can find info that way.

A good reason why you should register... Registered users can edit their posts.
